Wedding planning a lot of times seems like a daunting task and very overwhelming but one of the hardest parts of it is knowing when to start. Well, here we are to give you all the tips as to when you should start!
A lot of couples are so excited about getting married that they forget to celebrate the engagement before getting into all the stress of planning a wedding! We recommend that you wait at least 1-2 months post engagement to start even thinking about planning the actual wedding. Even though we do recommend to wait, we also do recommend to have the big conversations about priorities, budgets, dates, and the vision behind the wedding, you know all the fun stuff!😆
Normally the best time for the commencement of wedding planning is about a year out. Of course, that can vary and it all depends on how quickly you would like to get married. Some people elope and don't have to take as long to wedding plan and others like to take longer than a year but, a good rule of thumb to go by is one year before the wedding.
Wedding planning isn't a straight line. You can start later and be just fine or start early and still have a few hiccups here and there. The ultimate goal is an amazing wedding day, whatever gets you there is truly all that matters.
